28 ways to use The Jelly, our 100% plant based petroleum jelly alternative

The Jelly sounds cool and all, but how do I actually use it? Well as a 100% petroleum-free petroleum jelly alternative the answer is: the same way you’d use petroleum jelly! If you’ve grown up never using products like petroleum jelly, your life is about to get sooo much better.

So without further ado, here’s 28 ways to use The Jelly, our 100% plant based petroleum jelly alternative.

  1. When dying/toning your hair use The Jelly along your hairline to avoid dye stains.
  2. Mix with sugar or salt for a DIY body scrub that’s super hydrating. Just don’t mix up more than you need!
  3. Rub into callouses to soften and hydrate
  4. Use as a cleansing balm/makeup remover for waterproof makeup or face paints
  5. As a tattoo balm to protect and hydrate healing or old tattoos.
  6. Overnight lip mask for baby soft lips.
  7. On dry noses when you’re sick or have a cold
  8. Mix with a drop or two of eucalyptus essential oil to make your own topical decongestant ointment (think Vaporub) - remember, start with just a drop of essential oil, you can always add more but you can't subtract!
  9. Apply on eczema to help soothe and protect irritated skin
  10. As a diaper rash balm
  11. Can ease chafing during exercise
  12. Apply to feet at night and cover with socks for baby soft feat in the morning
  13. Use on hair to create a polished ponytail with no flyaways
  14. As a brow gel (also great for brow growth!)
  15. Condition lightly scuffed or stiff leather products
